Of the pain unfelt and expectations hurt

Of the fear unseen and the cries unheard

Of the wounds unattended

She was made.

Made to survive and breathe along

Live in a world she didn’t belong.

To try and fail, easy or tough

Nothing she did, was good enough.

Sentences incomplete and words unsaid

Emotions unexpressed, kept to oneself

For the world she smiled, stood happy and gay,

For him, she was another toy to play.
